In the heart of the Mara, our family-owned safari camp encourages children of all ages to step into their wilderness surroundings. From learning to throw a rungu alongside Maasai guides to beading with the camp mamas, The Little Warrior Experience is a genuine, culturally-rooted adventure built for young explorers.

Seringet Mara Camp has been welcoming families for over 25 years. Children are woven into the rhythm of camp life from the moment they arrive. The Little Warrior Experience gives them their own safari: guided by Maasai who have called this land home for generations, and shaped around the pace of travelling with little ones.Each day brings something new.

Morning walks with the guides to read tracks and listen for birdsong. Junior warrior training, bows and arrows, rungu throwing, target practice, all drawn from traditions passed down across centuries. Beading sessions with the camp mamas, learning a few words of Maa, and wildlife bingo games centred on Kenya’s endangered species.

At the heart of the programme is the Little Explorers tent: a dedicated space where children can adventure independently, giving parents the rare luxury of a sundowner in peace.Most of the Seringet crew have been here for over twenty years. Guests arrive as visitors and leave as family, children included.
