Mombasa Marine Park is dubbed as an allure of natural beauty due to the warm azure ocean and swaying coconut palms on the sandy beaches.
The reserve lies between Mtwapa and Tudor Creeks. Its blue waters are ideal for windsurfing, water skiing, snorkeling and diving.
Aquatic sea life thrives here. The colorful variety of species include sea urchin, crab, starfish, octopus, jellyfish, sea cucumber; it is a hub of a large diversity of fish. The turtle breeding and hatching season is one not to miss, as the slow moving animals lay their eggs in the sand and leave back for the ocean.
Both the park and reserve are the most highly utilized among marine protected areas. There are various local agents who offer boats for hire to get into the Marine Park. There are quite a good number of companies offering water sports facilities. These firms are spread along the beach.
