Water Sports

Kenya has some of the most amazing variety of watersports.

Coast underwater:

Take to Scuba Safari in spectacular Marine Parks. Alternatively, choose Diving in the many renowned dive sites of Watamu Marine National Park, Mtwapa, Barracuda Reef and Kisite Mpunguti Marine Reserve.

Reefs here are home to amazing coral gardens and reef walls full of holes, caves, cracks and crevices. Outside the reef, you can see migratory pods of whales, dolphins, flying fish, reef sharks giant turtles, eels and manta rays.

Exciting activities done on water at the coast: Big Game Fishing is popular because there are lots of big fish in that deep, blue water. From the Sailfish, Marlin, Kingfish, Wahoo, Horse Mackerel and plenty more. Jet Skiing is fun. Kitesurfing is a thrill though. Perfect wind conditions and stunning tropical beaches are making Kenya the new destination for kitesurfing. Nyali, is where beginners become advanced while Che-Shale and Malindi are a dream kite surfer’s spots.

Inland: Trout Fishing in the Aberdares is fun. White Water Rafting expedition along the Ewaso N’giro or Tana Rivers is however an adrenaline draw for those looking for some Class II, III and IV rapids in the stretch.
